  FOPRISA Commissioned nine papers to serve as background material for SADC Secretariat papers for the SADC ICCPD. The 9 papers include:

  • Gender And Development For Poverty Eradication by Dr Zitha S Mokomane

• Report on the Economic Situation of Zimbabwe
  
  The fourth FOPRISA on-demand paper is titled "Report on the Economic Situation of Zimbabwe and Recommendations to SADC Executive Secretary" was completed in August 2007.
  

• SADC Annual Economic Review 2006-07
  
  FOPRISA's third on-demand policy paper titled "SADC Annual Economic Review 2006-07" was completed in June 2007. This document provides useful information about the economic performance of member states in the context of overall global and African regional economic performance.

• Issues for Consideration and Decision by the Extraordinary SADC Summit of October 2006
  
  FOPRISA's second on-demand policy paper titled "Issues for Consideration and Decision by the Extraordinary Summit" was produced prior to the SADC Extraordinary Heads of State Summit in October 2006.

• Status of Regional Integration in SADC
  
  This is FOPRISA's first on-demand policy paper on "The Status of Regional Integration in SADC 2006 " produced prior to the August 2006 SADC Heads of State Summit.
